Discover the story behind McKenna Live Events, Glasgow’s award-winning event management company with over 20 years of experience creating unforgettable moments.
McKenna Live Events was established in 2003 and operates from dedicated premises in East Kilbride. The company’s first decade focused on delivering conferences, charity balls, and award ceremonies before stepping onto the international stage in 2014 with involvement in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Since then, Steven McKenna Events has continued to support major sporting organisations, including the Davis Cup, the SFA, and the European PGA Tour. Festivals and outdoor productions have also become a core part of their portfolio, from delivering five separate festivals for East Lothian Council to staging the final ‘Europe Day’ on behalf of the European Commission and Parliament.
From an Outdoor Cinema for Ford to an indoor screening for Netflix, from a prom at St Andrews University to karaoke nights with Barclays, we’ve done it all. Our services span audio systems, screens and AV solutions, lighting design, event planning, Charity Fundraising, festivals, major event logistics, and much more.
Whether you come to us with a detailed creative vision or just an idea of the outcome you want, we’ll bring it to life. We offer the experience, support, and technical know-how to deliver inspiring, impactful events for businesses and audiences of all sizes.
From a six-person meeting to a ten-thousand-strong festival on a greenfield site, our commitment to attention to detail and customer service never changes.
We’ve been doing this since 2003 — and our reputation speaks for itself. If we didn’t deliver, we wouldn’t still be here over 20 years later.
